What is your trade worth? There are many
factors that go into the actual trade-in value of your vehicle and the only way to take them all into account
is to bring your vehicle into Simpson for an appraisal by our used car manager. To see what you might get
selling your vehicle on your own, go to Edmunds.com
How's your credit? I'll be glad to check it for you, but if you'd like to do it yourself without having it affect
your score, here's a link to get a free credit report. The catch
is they don't tell you your score without paying for it. But you will see all your accounts and payment history along with
instructions on how to dispute inaccuracies. Your good credit is important for me to get you the best possible rates.
We have the best financing in the state of Calfornia. Our Finance Department will work to get
you the best possible terms. For additional advice on automobile financing, go to
BankRate.com
How safe is the car you're interested in? While experts sometimes challenge the validity of laboratory controlled crash testing
compared to real world accidents, safety ratings given by The National Transportation Highway Safety Administration
at least provide a basis for comparison.
What will it cost to insure my new vehicle? Progressive Insurance allows you to get an "instant" online quote and even compare rates with competitors.
(It does take a few minutes to fill out all the info.) You can even buy your new policy online. Other good sources for insurance quotes include The Automobile Club of Southern California
and Wawanesa.

Random Advice:
-Keep in mind what's really important. Example: If you're focused on the vehicle's price, but you're not paying cash, you're looking
at the wrong number ... it's the payment that's really most important to you. What with incentives and all, the price of the vehicle is not
always the "bottom line" for you.
-Don't be afraid of leasing. It's a valid option for some, but not everyone. Contact me for a detailed explanation and
look at your individual situation.
-"But I've been burned on previous leases!" If you got burned on a lease, that dealer probably would have burned you no
matter what financing you chose. Again, leasing is not for everyone. I want your business now and forever. I can't afford
to burn you.
-The vehicle you'd like and the one you need and will fit your budget may be two very different things.
Example: You want a heavy duty pickup to tow a 5th wheel trailer but don't want to spend the money on a Duramax diesel
engine. So you insist on an 8.1 liter gas engine. Did you know even the 8.1 doesn't have as much pulling power as the
Duramax? Do you realize that if you drive 15,000 miles a year and keep it just two years and 8 months the diesel will more
than pay for the difference in price through better fuel ecomony? Plus, when you're traveling you'll only have to stop for
fuel half as often? You're putting a pro to work when you call me for a no-obligation consultation.
-Get it in writing! Many dealers will shout out a riduculously low number as you're leaving their lot just to take you off
the market. They believe you won't be satisfied until you get their unmatchable price ... which they won't match either when you come back.
If you didn't get it in writing and it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
